The plugin used for this is the Agent Press Listings. Prior to adding actual listings, you’ll need to set up the plugin with your own desired taxonomies. Instructions for doing so are below.
Go to Listings –> Register Taxonomies
On the Timothy demo we are using Property Type, Property Price, and Community. You can use whatever taxonomies you’d like.
To create a taxonomy:
- Insert text into the ID (preferably no spaces, underscores, or special characters)
- Insert Plural Name (ie Communities)
- Insert Singular Name (ie Community)
- Click Add New Taxonomies
Once you register your taxonomies (criteria), you’ll need to tell WordPress what is valid for each taxonomy. Or in other words, what property types you will have in your website. For example, these could be New Construction, Existing Home, Short-sale, Condo, etc. for the Property Type.
