We use the Genesis – Featured Posts widget in our demo. If you would like to mimic this styling, follow the below instructions.
Go to Appearance -> Widgets
- Drag Genesis – Featured Posts over to your desired sidebar
- Input your desired header into Title
- Set Number of Posts to Show to 3
- Check Show Featured Image
- Select Image Size of Featured Posts (small) (52 x 58)
- Set Image Alignment to Left
- Check Show Post Title
- Check Post Info
- Input the following in the white box below and remove the extra spaces inside the brackets: [ post_date format=”m.d.y” ]
- Select No Content from Content Type
- Save
