The Richard theme offers full customization for the three footer text areas at the very bottom of the site in the footer. To put your own content in these sections go to the Genesis –> Richard Settings page and scroll down to the Footer Info Settings box.
Please note that you can use any of the various Genesis Shortcodes in these sections. For example the footer_copyright shortcode is handy because it will automatically update the date for you with each new year.
Enter the desired text for each of the three Footer area settings boxes. You may use some HTML markup in these fields as desired. Here is what we have configured for those settings in our theme demo:

Please note that we added an extra space after the opening [ bracket in the footer_copyright shortcode so that it will appear correctly in our forum software. That extra space should not be used in your code.
Remember to click the Save Settings button to lock in your changes.
