To replace the footer credits you will need to edit one of the php files. Here is how you do that.
In your unzipped theme download package open the /ellen-mae/lib/structure/footer.php in a text editor (not Microsoft Word).
On line 16 of that file replace the following code
<p>Ellen Mae is a <a href=”https://9seeds.com/store/”>WordPress Theme</a> Built on Genesis</p>
With your code
<p>New Footer Credit HTML Text Goes Here</p>
Ellen Mae has been updated to simplify customizing the footer credits. You can go to Genesis –> Ellen Mae Settings and enter your desired text in the Footer Credits settings box.
