The Caroline theme comes equipped with three footer widget areas. You may pick and choose what content you’d like displayed here. You do not need to follow what we have done in the demo.
To configure your footer widgets, from your WordPress admin screen go to Appearance –> Widgets. Here are the widgets we have in our theme demo.
Footer 1
- Text Widget
Note: Genesis is configured to only show the Footer widgets when there is content in the Footer 1 widget area. This means that if you put a widget in either of the other two Footer Widget areas but leave the Footer 1 widget area blank your widgets will not show.
