The launch of 9seeds

It’s been said that anything worth doing is worth doing right. Sometimes that means you need to put projects on hold because you don’t have proper people ready, willing and able to join forces to make that project a success. But when you finally find the right people, doing it right seems to happen with very little effort.

A bit of history

A few months ago I was approached with an opportunity to work on a project that I immediately realized as something I wanted to be a part of. Unfortunately, by myself, I just didn’t have the time or skills to complete the project in the way I know it needs to be done in order to be a success. So I shelved it.

Fast forward a few weeks. I took a trip to Los Angeles to take part in WordCamp L.A. While there I had a meeting with Shayne and Todd and gave them an overview of the project. They, too, were both immediately excited. Having known Todd for several years and having worked closely with Shayne on projects over the last couple months, I knew that I had found the missing pieces.

Thus, 9seeds was born!

Our project is underway and we expect to launch in the next 4-6 weeks. It will be the first in a series of custom WordPress plugins.
