Monthly Site Maintenance and Monitoring
As part of our basic monthly maintenance service we will perform the following actions:
- Remote monitoring at a frequency of at least once every 15 minutes to ensure your site is online.
- Upgrade site to the latest WordPress version the week following it’s release. If a new release is related to an immediate security issue, site will be updated within 24 hours of the software release.
- Upgrade plugins on site at least once a week.
- Weekly database backups stored off site in our Amazon S3 account.
- Monthly website backups stored off site in our Amazon S3 account.
WordPress Consulting and Development Retainer Agreements
Our monthly retainer blocks provide you priority access to our team. Where we are typically booked 2-6 weeks in advance, you get to hop in front of the line without incurring rush fees. Your support ticket will be started within 3 business days, and usually much sooner when it’s a critical rush.
As part of your maintenance block, 9seeds will perform:
- Troubleshooting
- Phone/video conference consultation or training
- Plugin installation & configuration
- Content updates
- Theme and Plugin Customization
- Pretty much anything that can be completed within the block you’ve paid for
Retainers contracts start at 5 hours per month, and with 10 hours of more we both provide an hourly rate discount as well as throwing in all the basic monthly maintenance above for free.
