We are constantly trying out new tools. We tried several time tracking applications, but none were ever a really good fit. Often times that was due to what we refer to as feature bloat. What probably started out as a great tool ended up being overrun with features. This made them overly complicated and cumbersome for our needs. So once again, we built our own solution on top of WordPress.

After more than a year of using WP Time Tracker, which was originally developed as a WordPress theme, we decided to rewrite it as a standalone plugin and make it available to the public. We literally use it every single day, and love it!

Unlike many online time trackers/invoicing applications, there is no monthly fee to use Time Tracker.

Time Tracker has been translated into 10 languages. English, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Hebrew, German, Dutch, Finnish, French and Bulgarian. If you are looking to use Time Tracker in another language, just let us know.

WP Chargify

This plugin gives you the ability to limit access to content (pages or posts) on your website based on paid membership levels. If a visitor tries to access protected content you can show them a custom message or the post excerpt.

The plugin was build specifically to use Chargify as the billing platform and subscription manager.

Ads For Old Posts

The idea behind this plugin was simple; we wanted the ability to show ads on blog posts, but didn’t want those ads to display for our most loyal readers. Instead, we wanted to display the ads only if the post was past a certain age.

With Ads For Old Posts you can add in an advertisement (like google adsense) and have it display at the top or bottom of every blog post as long as it was published more than a certain number of days ago (30 days by default). The plugin also allows for some styling of the ad block so you can make it stand out or blend in as you see fit.
