We are using Soliloquy to input the video into the home page. We used a video from YouTube to create this presentation.
Go to Soliloquy -> Add New
- Create a new slider
- Click on Click Here to Insert Slides from Other Sources
- Add a title to Video Title
- Input your YouTube URL into Video URL
- Select an image for the video thumbnail by inputting the URL (from the media library or elsewhere) into Video Thumbnail
- Save Metadata
- On the Config tab:
- Set Slider Theme to Base
- Set Slider Dimensions to Default with 528 x 297 px
- Set the Slider Position to Left
- Set the Slider Gutter to 0px
- Uncheck the Create Mobile Slider Images? checkbox
- Save
- Save the slider
Go to Appearance -> Widgets
- Drag Soliloquy over to the Rotator sidebar
- Select your new video slider
- Save
