Deborah – Using a Logo Image

Using PTSA Logo

Deborah is specifically designed for use with PTA websites. As such it comes with an official logo. To use the official PTSA logo follow these steps:

  • Go to Genesis –> Deborah Settings
  • Check the box to Display PTSA Everychild Onevoice logo with the city name above.
  • Enter your school or city name in the City Name field
  • Click the Save Settings button to lock in your changes

Using Your Own Logo

However you may use the Deborah theme with your own logo image or with a standard text logo if you prefer. Here are the steps to do so.

  • Go to Genesis –> Deborah Settings
  • Ensure the Display PTSA Everychild Onevoice logo with the city name above box is not checked
  • Click the Save Settings button if you changed the above setting
  • Go to Genesis –> Theme Settings
  • Scroll down to the Header settings box
  • Select Image logo from the dropdown
  • Click the Save Settings button to lock in your changes

You will also need to upload your logo image to your site. Create your image in the png format, name it logo.png and FTP your logo.png file to your /deborah/images/ folder on your website’s server.

Our demo logo.png file is 220px wide by 71px high. If your image is that size it will fit in the theme with no difficulty.

You can also use a text only logo if you prefer. Simple chose the Dynamic text logo in the Genesis –> Theme Settings page instead of the Logo image in the Header settings dropdown.
