The Team

John Hawkins is a long time web developer, WordPress enthusiast, WordCamp speaker and organizer living on the outskirts of Las Vegas with his wife and two teenage children.

Todd has been forced to learn a lot of languages but learned PHP by choice and, after a decade of using and loving the language, there’s no going back. His hobbies include photography and reading more books than is generally deemed safe by the Surgeon General. Todd lives in Las Vegas with his cat, Pixel. Pixel spends his time not understanding that people aren’t just large, oddly shaped cats or that he isn’t a tiny, furry human with excellent night vision.
Andy is a developer, entrepreneur, and all around CMS jockey. He has programmed, managed and lead development with large corporations (IBM, UPS, SITA, American Cancer Society) as well as fast moving startups – building content and marketing sites on a number of platforms. He has worked on quite a few CMS platforms from Interwoven, Documentum, Atomz and PHP “you name it” until settling down with WordPress about a year ago.
Sarah has been in project management for the past several years, with a majority of that time spent in technology start-ups. She spends her free time sleeping, traveling, or searching for the next fun thing to occupy her brain. Over the past few years, John has called her “Robot” (but it’s not what you think). There’s an unremarkable – but sort of funny – story behind the nickname, and if you meet her in person, she may be inclined to share it with you.

Justin Foell has a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods and Computer Science, and has been doing software development since 1999. He’s worked professionally using PHP, Perl & Java, doing everything from web development to full-blown desktop applications. He’s also been known to dabble in Python, C, and C++. His industry experience varies widely from Healthcare to Finance.
